The Global Cardiovascular Innovations Center (GCIC) is a state-of-the art laboratory facility, a support for technological innovations related to the treatment of cardiovascular disease. A vital tool for recruiting the best research talent to Cleveland, the GCIC will also foster the birth of spin-off companies and further expand the economic revitalization of the Fairfax community.
The facility will house program space for the Cleveland Clinic Innovations Center, the GCIC Accelerator and member companies specializing in researching, developing, testing, market and distributing FRRC (Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation) and Cleveland Clinic, the facility’s primary tenant, is a dynamic effort to bridge the divide between the world-renowned healthcare institution and the neighborhood that surround it.
The GCIC will also serve as a source of economic revitalization for future growth along the Fairfax community through its focus upon technological innovations and entrepreneurship.
