Robert P. Madison International, Inc. (RPMI) was the Associate Architect for the Downtown Hilton Hotel.  RPMI had responsibility as the bridging architect to take the Criteria Interior Design Firm’s design development drawings and produce the Contract Documents.

Due to Anderson Miller (the Criteria Interior Design Firm) working in Autodesk Autocad 2D software and the Design Build Team using Autodesk Revit (BIM) software, RPMI had to recreate the entire computer model for interiors, including all reflected ceilings, floor finish plans, interior elevations, enlarged plans, suite plans, finish schedule and details.

RPMI was architecturally responsible for 650,000 gross square feet of the Hilton Project. Hilton Hotels & Resorts, owned by Hilton Worldwide, will operate the hotel. The hotel features a 28-story tower filled with 600 guest rooms positioned atop a five-story podium of grand ballroom, junior ballroom, meeting space, retail space, lobby, lobby bar and restaurant. The hotel features a rooftop bar as well as underground connections to the Cleveland Convention Center and the Global Center for Health Innovation. RPMI was also responsible for fully coordinating the project with numerous consultants to ensure a complete set of documents, as well as developing Interior Specifications in conjunction with the Criteria Designer.

RPMI provided Construction Administration Services, including Shop Drawing review, RFI responses, Navisworks MEP coordination, field observation, and punch list services.

RPMI created 133 architectural contract drawings.
