Project Manager
Location: Northeast Ohio or New York
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead architectural projects from early concept through construction. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives on managing teams, maintaining client relationships, and delivering high-quality projects on schedule and within budget. As a Project Manager, you will serve as a steady navigator throughout the design and construction process, guiding multidisciplinary teams, coordinating project deliverables, and ensuring every phase meets client expectations and firm standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural projects independently from programming and design through construction administration.
Manage project teams, delegate tasks, and mentor staff to ensure successful project delivery.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Coordinate with engineering consultants and other disciplines to produce high-quality construction documents.
Ensure projects meet client goals, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Monitor project progress, proactively identify challenges, and implement effective solutions.
Oversee construction phase services, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and coordinating with contractors.
Ability to mentor emerging professionals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
Licensed Architect preferred but not required
Minimum of 10+ years of project management experience in an architectural practice.
Demonstrated experience working independently to lead project teams while successfully meeting client deadlines, budgets, and expectations.
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction documentation, and project delivery methods.
Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and AutoCAD required.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
