RPMI is leading the design of the Akron Rites of Passage Museum and Community Center. This 25,000 SF facility has a program that includes a youth center, business incubator space, an auditorium, a museum, and administrative spaces. The design is inspired by the West African compound house which was meant to foster a strong sense of community and shared living.
